Well bummer!
I will not be making COTA tomorrow.
Logistics and my weak brain got me.
I had made hotel reservations Friday for a Saturday night on Town Lake, Austin.
I reminded wife we were leaving today. She tells me ( I forgot) she has her best friends girls bday party thing tonight. It’s a group of 3 Russians, 1 Ukrainian women. Russian Bear restaraunt in Houston.

So at 5:30 am this morning I drove up to Texas AM, daughter’s BF men’s indoor volleyball tournament and also forgot she was playing on a woman’s team there. I did see TW Blake there and talked to him for a few minutes. My daughter’s team played his team in playoffs. We lost. Blake told me there is a camping thing in Dec at Hidden Falls?
I got home at 7:30 tonight, Houston, Friendswood.

So long story short I’m not up to driving out early tomorrow morning again.
Sucks since I was looking forward to coming out and meeting others. Plus hanging in Austin today since weather was ridiculous awesome.
Regardless, hope to make the next one and if Dec is a camp trip will plan on that!
Goes without saying, have a blast tomorrow!

The battery died as he was on an incline and so it rolled backwards and flopped to the side. It's back up and running trails today and everyone is ok!

Well, I do have my bacon...… I've only been to one, and cooking seemed to be "not decided" last month. Tommy (<Mrprotaganist) did the cooking on a bunch of camp stoves, but he has like disappeared the last two weeks. I have no idea who normally cooks, who has equipment, ect….
I thought last month was abnormal, having never been there.
Who normally does this magic - the TTC request is to bring "stuff", and I'm happy to. I am missing some backstory, I guess!

Sorry to hear that, because, it is a lot of fun meeting this very disparate groups members. I was "new" last month, and hardly felt so....

You are right...I got burned by so many dealerships when I was looking for a Taco years ago. Best Toyota dealer I've dealt with was Toyota of Killeen and it was their used car manager. He did exactly what I asked and I couldn't believe it. I had a loan from my CU ready to go but he was able to beat it by .5% so I went with him. Worst Toyota salesmen I dealt with was at Round Rock toyota. They literally held my GLI hostage while they were selling the truck I came for to someone else, then gave me a huge run around until I told them I was getting upset that they haven't given my keys back after I asked for them. The guy came back with 2 or 3 different offers that I had no interest in and then when I blew up on him about the keys he called his manager over to try and smooth the situation over and I told them all I wanted was my F****** keys and to leave. Point being don't give up @beetlevegas someone out there will help you! Probably best to buy used like you were saying. Although the Tundra, Tacoma, and T4R hold their value like a MF!

Usually @Tynan @exportexp bring their disc cookers but I dunno who's showing up tomorrow since I have been out of the loop recently as well. I too won't make it since I have a maintenance event happening at work tomorrow. I thought about coming super early and leaving early enough to make it to work by 8am. But I don't know if I can make that happen lol so I will probably not be there. Hope you guys enjoy and take lots of pics!

 

My shit is dirty too! Most people in Austin I assume since they shut down most of the car washes.
