Came with MGM topper. Added FJammer stereo. LED Bed lights on AOB Flux Capacitor Switch. Added AOB Spy Mode switch for TBD lighting, stay tuned.
Passed my frame inspection today. On the one hand, no new frame for me. On the other hand, glad to know my 13year old vehicle is in decent shape.

So, in the end, do they rub at all?
I have a 2011 TRD OR w/ 3" Toytech Lift and 1" body lift. Currently running 265/75/16 KO2s and wanting to go to 255/85/16 S/T Maxxs. But when I went and measured the current clearance with the worn KO2s (pretty close to replacement time) I found that the front of the front tires at one point in the turn have only 1" clearance.
The KO2s are 31.7" diameter and the S/T Maxxs are 32.8" diameter. That's a 1.1" inch difference meaning the The S/T Maxxs would need 0.55" more clearance that the KO2s.
It seemed OK as I still had 1" of clearance with the KO2s. But they are worn not new. So I did some fuzzy math considering the tires had lost about 10/32" (0.31") of tread depth. The fuzzy math says that 1" clearance with the worn KO2s is 0.7" with new KO2s. Which would indicate about 0.2" clearance for the S/T Maxxs. Less than what your picture with the quarter shows but the wheel is only slightly turned.
But the difference is I'm doing fuzzy math and you have them on your truck!
Are they rubbing? You said you wouldn't recommend this. Can you elaborate?
    Thanks in advance for answering!

    • Got the spark knock TSB taken care of.
    • Replaced my battery and battery terminals.
    • Debadged my truck, only to find out that my passenger door was resprayed at some point (in a slightly non-matching white). Gotta find out how much it will be to resprayed my door. :(

My 2008 taco runs a 3 inch toytech, and ARB bumper. It has zero rubbing issues with BFG KO2-285/70/17 on stock rims and 1.5 inch spacers. Tires are 32.7 inches tall. I did remove the front and rear mud flaps.

Works great, especially if you have a fancy pressure washer that heats the water. I spray the underbody after every wheeling trip. It's worth owning one!

The way you see them here they are considered a firearm. Once mounted to a pole of 18" or longer they are then classified as a tool.

Definitely looks like there are 3 denso's in there. Top right and bottom left two are denso's the other 3 are NGK's. I would bet the previous owner didnt replace them at all.

I have 255/80/17's on mine the 17" equivalent to the 255/85/16's with a 2.5" lift and absolutely no rubbing with on road or off. They're on stock first gen tundra wheels so back spacing can make a difference if you have aftermarket wheels. I have spoken with many that have run the size you want on stock suspension with no rubbing.

Stock suspension I had minimal rubbing:

    2.5" lift no rubbing anytime:
