Pennsylvania's ludicrous motor vehicle code makes me want to build my Tacoma into the most obnoxious vehicle it can possibly be (loud exhaust, second subwoofer, blinding LED lights, wheels that stick out past fenders, etc), and to remove the emissions control equipment, then register it at a relative's residence in Florida or South Carolina (where they have no inspection) and continue to drive it here; Just to give a big to PennDOT...

 

I can't just install fog lights, because if they can be operated independently of the high-beams, my truck won't pass inspection...

Fuck you, PennDOT!

 

There is something wrong with my dog's kidneys. My parents took her to a specialist in Levittown to get an ultrasound, and we should get have some idea about what exactly is going on by tonight.

 

It’s not that bad, and if you take it to the right station you can push the limits very close. Doylestown inspection centers may be more “letter of the law”, just go north a few towns and it can be a bit more lenient.

I think part of the reason that retailers like Best Buy and GameStop are not doing so hot is because they card young-looking customers to buy video games!

So a 16-year old buys Grand Theft Auto...

Especially if the customer is paying in cash!

It's not like they're buying beer or cigarettes...

As much as I often don't agree with the rules and regulations of those communist dictatorships known as homeowner's associations, there was this one time in our old neighborhood in Furlong where I fully backed their actions...

Depending on a number of factors, a driveway typically needs to be sealed every two years or so. My dad has it done whenever the driveway starts to look worn out. We have never gotten a fine, or even a warning, from the HOA for our driveway being in shitty condition.

Probably in about 2011-2013 or so, this driveway sealcoating company thought it would be a good idea to leave flyers at all 386 townhouses in our development, stating that they had been hired by the HOA to seal all the driveways and that anybody who didn't get their driveway done by a certain time would be fined by the HOA.

Unfortunately, some people actually fell for this lie, panicked, and had their driveway sealed by this company. Numerous others, including my parents, complained to the HOA and it didn't take long to figure out what was going on.

The sealcoating company got a stern reprimand from the HOA and was banned from ever doing business in our neighborhood again.

NOTE: The HOA can take action if your driveway falls into disrepair, but the HOA has absolutely no say in who you hire to sealcoat your driveway, and they certainly wouldn't pay someone to do a 386-home development!

I WANT A HOA. When we built our house, our neighborhood was nice looking, now a bunch of lowlifes ruined our neighborhood with their shitty dead grass, and their rusty cars flood the streets. At the entrance of our neighborhood, the city council thought it was a good idea to build a facility in which they house their decommissioned vehicles.
