Thanks? I am trying to get better with my mechanical knowledge though. I'd say I'm not terrible (I can do almost all the routine maintenance items so change any fluids, swap spark plugs, and all that crap). I do get quickly over my skill set doing stuff like swapping axles, but figure the only way to learn is to do it.

How does it work? Literally a relay, a few wires, and a switch. No vacuum line BS to worry about.

That’s what I average on the highway. I started in San Jose, and I drove to Sacramento. It’s highway driving with moderate traffic.

Swapping axels is easy. The hard part would be wireing up the e locker. Though you can make them cable actuated instead

I have their Tundra kit on my truck. However the rotors are upgraded to Baer Sport Rotors. No issues whatsoever, powder cost is excellent.

Ah hell wiring the locker is easy peasy. Low Range makes a plug-n-play harness, and I believe @mechanicjon makes one too. You can eliminate the 4WD Computer module by using a Double Throw 4PDT switch and relay.

You have two options here. You can do vacuum actuated ADD or electronic actuated ADD.

I have yet to see a 4WD conversion with someone who used vacuum ADD. Most people use the later electronic ADD actuator.

IMO it is 100x easier to run than a vacuum actuator. You don’t have to worry about tapping into any stock harnesses, running vacuum lines, or any vacuum switching valves. It’s a single switch, relay, and some wires.
