1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

I want to as well...I could benefit from it with the supercharger, my intake temps are always 20-40° higher than the ambient temps outside which is a problem on hot 100 degree days.

 

I want to have mine open. It will be over the supercharger, should actually help with heatsoak

@1997tacomav6 customized a T4R scoop to be functional on his supercharged 1st gen...he made a detailed write up on his build thread

 

Me too but I don't think that one is factory. Looks different. IIRC you can't just add the factory one. Truck had to be ordered with one.

 

I wish my father had ordered his truck with the rack. But oh well

 

Roofs reinforced

 

Do I reuse the shims on the new brake pads? Never do on the sequoia..

 

I remember looking into it back on CT. Guys were saying there are roof supports that are added. And none of that stuff could be purchased, not even the entire roof rack. I never looked up the parts myself though.

 

Just drill the roof and bolt a rack onto it

 

If they don’t have rust I usually clean them up and reuse them to save customers some money

 

I do both regularly, as well as computer nonsense for work. It's all cake after a bit of reading

 

akebono pads? no need.

 

Most aftermarket pads come with shims. I've never purchased replacement OEM pads in my life, had no idea they didn't come with new shims which I think is stupid.

 

I like In & Out including their fries.
