    That's crazy cheap....it's almost free.

When I upgrade my 12 year old -5 degree Marmot bag I'm looking at spending around $300-$400. My Marmot bag was on clearance at like $175. I think it was 50% off and had a cosmetic issue.

HAH! That's the bag I used over the weekend and I also had a $10 coupon too.

Except mine is orange and gray...I hate the mummy bags though I like to be able to move when I sleep hence why I used it as a blanket

A lot of crap and too much money spent
    General Plan
    1. Meet at Starbucks in Madera at 8:30 Friday morning
    2. Depart Starbucks at 9:00
    3. Arrive at Cressman's General Store in Shaver Lake around 10:15 to refuel
    4. Convoy to trailhead
    5. Drink a beer
    6. Scout possible campsites
    7. Relocate to chosen site
    8. Setup camp
    9. Drink a beer
This agenda sounds a lot like my younger days going to parties.
This should be a fun trip.

Lol...no kidding. I was just reading some reviews on $600-$800 sleeping bags. Each review said their zippers suck.

Yeah. I'm not a fan of the mummy bag either. Don't like having my feet constricted like that, but I manage.

That would actually be pretty funny. Gotta post up on a curb or a small rock.

For the record, I don't patronize Starbucks.
