Yeah things may be expensive here but doesn't validate their reason for being so much more expensive. Heck I'll eat at the The Habit before 5 Guys & I'm not the type of person who is cheap when it comes to good food.

Is it possible that if I just bleed the brakes each night for a few nights, that I could get the air out that way? Really dont wanna pull my master off.

Not really, you might be able to cheat and just put on the bleed nozzles for the MC while it's in the truck though.

Same way you would bleed at the bleeders on calipers except younare doing it at the fittings for the brake lines. But the 2 person conventional brake pedal method. Otherwise you can just bleed the entire system at each wheel like normally.

Maybe it’s a Chevy S10? Hard to tell from the distance. I say Ranger because it appears there’s an emblem on the lower right hand side of the tailgate.

 

If you are just changing the master cylinder then it's perfectly fine, there's no need to waste time bleeding the entire system. But in his case with his issues best to bleed the entire system.

 

Not that I know any better since I don't touch brakes but I thought you were supposed to bleed them from back to front. Either that or something else but there is a specific order to it if I'm not mistaken. See? Yet another reason I just pay to have the brakes done in a shop. Safety issue. Take my money just do the job right.

Are you referring to bleeding all 5 bleeders on the truck? So what your saying is, I have to remove the hardlines from the master and then bleed it out those ports?

 

Generally you start with the farthest drum or caliper from the master cylinder. So in this order... RR, LR, RF, LF.

 

Have you tried a vacuum bleeder? I did the one man bleeder technique with a water bottle and some 1/4 tubing and my brakes are fine. That’s how I’ve always bled brakes.

 

After a morning of becoming even more disappointed in the road system of the mounts around me i did some pretty exciting yard work.
