    Good news and bad news:

    Good News:
    - I got my Pelfreybilt fall out bankruptcy money refunded!
    $2,099 for the rear bumper
    $325 for the aluminum skids

    Bad News:
    - The truck is in the shop and damages are $15,800... if they get to $19,000/20,000 then I’ll have the option of totaling it

Here's what I would've done, (Considering it would cost a minimum of 15k,) I would have bought a whole new 2nd gen tacoma with a decent frame and a bed and completely transferred everything on that truck over. I unfortunately don't have my build thread up yet, but on my gold tacoma (which was totaled when I bought it,) I took everything off of that truck except for the cab and the frame because they were done and transferred it onto a different frame because it was a rust-free 1st gen with only 130k on the clock.
Although I am glad you already have a new build going, proud of you for that one.
