    Doesn't matter now but no need to bleed it because of the extended bracket. And if it's the extended brake line that you put on, quicker to just bleed it at the brake line fitting but can't use the one man brake bleeding method. I was wondering why you bled the BPV.

    Me neither. I never have & never had a problem. I still won't & don't see a need to unless replacing it or unless someone convinces me otherwise.

    I was actually having problems with my aftermarket pads and rotors warping.
    I ordered the factory shimes and now have no problems.

    The only time I ever had rotor warping problems on my truck is when I used cheap $30 rotors from the auto parts store. With OEM, Brembo, & Centric rotors, I've never had warping issues.

    I have always used green stuff and they stop the truck super fast.
    Never had any issues with stopping fast

    Can the pads and rotors be changed without bleeding the system?

    Interesting about the shims & rotor warpage. I don't understand how they would make a difference but good to know. I'll keep that in mind if i ever run into that issue.

    I tried a set of EBC pads once. I forget which ones but they were painted green. Were pretty expensive, wore out crazy fast, & made dust like crazy. Those things were like $100 too. I've ran EBCs on my previous cars without issues but I don't think I'll ever try them again for a street vehicle, too expensive.

    I've been running Hawk cermaics ever since but i had issues with my last set & their price has gone up. I'm on Alebono ceramics now. I'm very happy with them & they only cost $30.

    Although some brake nazis will say no & by the book bleeding is the proper way but I always change my pads & rotors without bleeding. I have done lots of brakes on other vehicles without bleeding when I worked at a shop without issues. I only bleed when I feel it's necessary.

    My Akebono pads didn't come with shims. I just installed the pads with no shims.
