If we're already updated with the TSB would you recommend to update to 1.04R though?

 

Going to the dealer for a flash update is definitely the safest way. It's not at all difficult to do it yourself though. For M/T, the files were around long b4 the dealers would even acknowledge they existed. No wording in the TSBs for M/T, yet the calibration IDs were there.

 

Sorry, I only have the M/T files.

 

It certainly gets some of the tunes "characteristics" back, so if you can't wait sure.

 

I didn’t notice much of a difference, the TSB is awesome and by far the best update I’ve felt. I can tell you that 1.04r added power, but no more drivability from my perspective. It certainly didn’t add any inhibition though, I say flash 1.04r since your $700 deep.

 

So i guess no progress being made? Logger was broke?

I know that at least two of us had problems with the logger and one other said it worked fine. I was able to log using techstream like I did before with the M/T tune development and forwarded those files to Mat. He must be wading through data and also trying to find out what is up with the logger. I have not had any additional contact with him since sending log files. So yes soon,sooner than it was yesterday...

 

Sent Mat my logs and they were yuuuuge.
Gave him my feedback and let’s see what he will do with it.

They were some bigly files. He will have trouble with them.

 

If you're looking for the 1.04R file in 91 Octane for AT I can send it to you. PM me with your email address. You already updated to 04B04 correct?

 

Only took 10 minutes to do myself including finding and installing TS… and I didn’t have the headache of trying to convince the dealer to do it

 

I did the same. Two of the logs I sent were of my 40 ish mile commute. All a waiting game now.

 

This is what he needs to see though, right? I thought one of my logs was gonna be quite large, turns out it was under 250kb (CSV file generated by his logger, not techstream). I don't think he'll have a problem interpreting any of it.

I assume you guys are providing a time index/rpm/other conditions under which you are experiencing stuff, if any.

 

Thanks. Another member sent them to me this evening. I updated to 04B04 at the dealer on Saturday.

 

My dealer is awesome. I stopped in without an appointment on Saturday at 8:00 am and was out by 9:00 am. Having a good relationship with my local dealer is awesome.

 

For those not in the know, the M/T TSB update IS accessible at some dealers. You'll have more of a fight than the A/T guys, because of the wording (or lack thereof) in one of the documents.
