Made some ugly cuts to clear my 33s in the rear since I've been tearing up the tread on them rubbing the metal corner.

Obviously my angle grinder skills need some work lol.

Gonna clean it up a bit with my dremel, paint it black to avoid rust and cover it up with some sheet rubber cut to fit.

No more rubbing though which feels great.

Just did mine. Call ARB USA. They are a tight fit and you'll likely need something to cut the metal sleeve out. A press would have been handy too.

Did you try MAP gas on the nut? I've had alignment shops tell me they had to use heat to break it loose.

Well crap, I guess that's a good reason to assemble the press that's sitting in a box in the shop. Thanks.

I made a similar cut on my truck, I agree that you need to cover it up haha. Mine gets filled with mud and gets crap all the way down door seal thing.

And it almost gives me a heart attack when a rock gets thrown just right and makes the loudest bang ever, instant heart attack everytime.

The brass fitting is the one threaded into the body of the SC. I thought you were installing a boost gauge - what's reading 3500 rpm?

As long as the T isn't blocked off or something, should be fine for the gauge. What brand/type of gauge is it?

Should be reading -20" vac at idle.

Installed a methanol kit from snow performance. The controller is also a boost gauge. Seems like it only reads boost, not vacuum.

Yeah I learned that the hard way when I cut back the metal corners on the front to clear those tires...next offroad trip got a bunch of gravel and rocks up in there and made my truck sound like a rainmaker stick

I'm getting more and more convinced to add methanol to my setup...7th doesn't work as well as I want it to and my intake temps are insanely hot in the summer

Yup I rub(bed) in the rear too really bad when the rear tires are stuffed/flexed.

Weird thing is, the drivers side was super bad but the passenger side barely rubs...first thought was that my axle was slightly crooked after installing the Expos but I've measured it and it's straight/same distance from the body on both sides. Odd

Yes. I found that to be the issue now that I have been running the supercharger for almost 4 months and 5k miles. I'll take it for a spin tomorrow and see how it acts. I also decided to go with a stock style reservoir for the meth, and still have a functional washer reservoir

I'm glad you mentioned that. Mine has always rubbed more on the driver side rear than the right. I haven't need to cut anything like you have though (too dark to take a pic). I thought it was the axle too, figured maybe it was the locating pins on my Deavers. So I swapped sides for the leafs, still the same. I've came to the conclusion that it may be just related to the stock shock mounting locations.

Got more pics and yeah it does seems pink except for second pic where some of the fluid collected around the bolt, but also has pink residue around the edges.

Yeah that looks exactly like the OEM Toyota coolant residue.

Yup no problem. Hope you find it to be something easy. Far better to have some sort of coolant leak than the rear main seal! I hate those!
