Tired of dealing with Folks supposedly waaaay smarter than me but with no common sense.
How you holdin’ Up?

 

I went and had lunch with @Squatting_pigeon and 2 of the other guys from tundras I usually hang out with. Still in pain and not feeling too great. Cane home and crashed after that. Woke up and got caught up here. I slept a long time lol

 

Sleep is the Best thing to do for pain if you can. Gives whatever ails you a chance to repair. Glad you at least got in a lunch with the crew.

 

Yeah....but now I need to summon the strength to clean house and do laundry. Tomorrow I need to grocery shopping. All things I had planned for today but was not feeling too hot.

I need to eat but feel nauseous

 

That’s a hell of a place to be & I can totally relate. Before they diagnosed me as Ciliac the more I ate, the sicker I got. I pray this too shall pass you you as well. Do what you can, when you can. As far as the list, make it then tear it in half & do just that part. No sense bein’ hard on yourself.

 

I need to do them all....not for me but for my kids. So it'll have to happen

 

I admire your positivity but don’t set yourself up for failure. Your body hurts for a reason & pushin’ yourself will just add up to more pain then the dreaded depression that comes with it. Get someone to go grocery shop for you. Liftin’ should not be a task to do right now.

 

Yeah well I lift stuff all the time. Besides....I still go to work. There is always a chance of getting into a fight.

 

I sure do pray they get to the bottom of this real quick. Life’s too short for pain to be a part of it. Mostly, and I know it’s hard, please don’t worry. Nothin’ positive ever came from doin’ that.

I have every confidence in the World that this is gonna work out fine. Just hope it’s sooner than later. Guess now’s the time to recruit the Kids into doin’ some chores to help their Mom out. Character buildin’ at work there if their old enough to contribute.

 

They contribute now when they are with me. My oldest is 11....she helps a lot when she is here

 

That’s great! Too many Kids miss out not bein’ a “part of” rather than bein a “part from”. Plus the sense of accountability that their helpin’ their Mom. Is Work OK with you takin’ some time off?

 

Mental attitude, whether it be positive or negative, tend to influce the final outcome of events.

 

My work knows what is going on and knows that I'll need surgery. I have told them to keep me busy because it helps deal with the pain. They also know I am saving my sick time for when I have surgery since I don't know how long I'll need away from work. They are aware.
