Crazy to think that the first parade i went to was 14 years ago...back in college when life didn’t have responsibilities preventing me from having fun.

I was in college up in Burlington VT at the time and it went nuts. Fires in the quads, fires in the trees, hundreds of kids flooding outside wasted going crazy...

Probably the only time I've been in anything like a "riot" or "mob". Obviously you can't be doing that stuff regularly, and we didn't hurt anyone except the grass. But it was a fun night that's for sure. Living out in Berkshires I don't see myself ever getting another chance at something like that.

We weren't that bad, I remember the photos from that stuff and how they trashed the town. I had totally forgot about all that until you just mentioned it.

    Some stuff
I snagged a $180 tyger rollup off Amazon a little ways back. Wanted go cover the bed, and the out of sight, out of mind mentality. Not worried about it at home.
Bike gets mounted to the front rail currently. Roll the cover, mount the fork, and go.
Keep tossing the idea of getting a softtopper and a dissent rack
    Or a hardtop with prinsu
    Or Voodoo...
Would love the ability to toss some lumber up on the roof at the hardware store, or move the ladders without the van, etc.
So, I just havent done anything, other than a rail mounted box.... as I can never make up my mind.

Sorry, early morning pondering and rambling while drinking my coffee

I was out at Fitchburg State and the staties, Fitchburg, Leominster, lunenburg and campus PDs came out in full force for the WS win after the “riot” from the ALCS... was definitely controlled chaos.

I started my college years up at St. Mikes right outside in Winooski. Transferred to Siena College in Albany, NY sophomore year though.

Burlington is a fun town though, the lake is right there which is good for some cheap picnic dates, plenty of concerts on Church street and with UVM and Champlain right there too there are plenty of young people always up for some fun. My cousin went there too and stayed a few years after college and I'd go visit him every once and awhile. Haven't been up in a few years though.

Cool! My girlfriend goes to St. Mikes(which is why I go up there all the time) cool place but she always complains that the dining hall sucks.

Yeah I actually found it a much more productive environment for me, VT was a little too "chill" and I was doing more partying than anything else. Siena was still fun, but the friends I made there had a better life balance and it rubbed off on me. I still see all my roomates from junior/senior year multiple times a year and we all talk regularly.

I wasn't ready maturity wise at St. Mikes to be released into the wild, and was by the time I made it to Siena, so a lot of my experience was a personal thing, both schools were good.

Yeah it really does suck. I remember just eating french fries and sometimes a grilled cheese, and always hating it. They also seemed to put laxative in there, so by the time you get back to the dorm you are in the bathroom. They did open some smaller dining area on the north campus apartments, they did chinese some nights and other specialties and I always like those. Not sure if that is still around though. Nice campus though and nice area to be in.
