One week out and can’t believe this time last year I totaled 1376 at my first powerlifting meet and this year I’m opening with 1740..... do drugs kids

I think I may compete at 242 next year. If I decide to compete. Haven't done a comp since 2009 (senior year of college), and I doubt I could even total what I did then. It would mainly be about just getting my ass in gear.

We didn’t get to go. Had to reschedule due to a death in his wife’s family. We’ll be going nov 4-8 now.

Got sick of all of the heavy squatting with hybrid performance PL program and switched over to John Welbourne Jacked Street. He’s doing a deload week (I already covered deload by slacking off a little the last couple of weeks) so I switched back to hybrid.

I think I gained a little size in jacked street, and I’m hoping today was an off day, but I sure lost some strength while doing the body building style routine.

 

Replaced my old metcon 2s with new metcon 4s yesterday. Now waiting for rogues slow shipping.

 

How’s the hybrid nutrition treating you? Several weeks in now, right?

Decided to give it an honest try during this cycle. Feeling good and strong, but I’m having trouble figuring out my best hand placement. Narrow feels better, but I’m not completely on the knurl. Wider gets me on the knurl, but puts my hands in my thighs earlier, making lockout harder.
