Lemme talk to some guys I know who are building a business teaching advanced CC. They've built a range just for pistol shooting and are both hard core Yota owners.

I'm down like some flat tires! I wouldn't be able to go until after the 8th-10th weekend. I don't think we'll be able to get the group discount at The Range but I'm still down to go. @Nopro mentioned he was down too. Maybe we can meet up at La Flor then go to the range since they don't open until 11a...

The Range is expensive AF. This place is down south (near CotA).

My availability this month is weird, but I'd need to check on what the range's availability is before committing to a date. If they don't have their stops rebuilt it's a moot point.

I would be down but define expensive AF? Also, is this Lone Star Gun Range out in Lockhart?

I never get out of the Range for less than $18 shooting my own guns and ammo. Red's is cheaper when I'm shooting indoors.

This place is not in Lockhart, it's a private range for instruction. I'm friends with the owners, and it's at their availability/willingness. They're building up an advanced concealed carry training school and we might be the right kind of "students" that help them square things away before they go full bore.

I need to check with them because they were still building the backstop the last time I was over there. All the rain we've had made this "challenging."

Interested in this as well. Will a person need to already have CC license for advanced classes? (I can only assume so)

I've been wanting to check this one out. Best of the West is nice too but it's up in Liberty Hill and I think they closed down their 1000 yard range. The Range isn't toooo crazy expensive, when my cousin and I go it's about $35 if I'm remembering correctly. Red's is definitely the cheapest.

I would be interested in getting a CHL, but I do not currently hold one.

Reds may be one of the cheapest but I also feel like it's one of the least safe. Just recently someone died at the one in Pfluverville and I've never felt very safe there. Lone Star is a little more "no non-sense" and the people that go that far out are usually a little more disciplined. By far, my favorite range has been Shady Oaks in Cedar Park.

I’ve never had an issue at the Red’s south location. They have great rentals, fair prices on ammo, lots of parts (if you want an extra mag). The staff there runs a tight ship. My only issue is 10 lanes, and it fills up quick. Good for singles and pairs, bad for groups.

I’ve reached out to my friends about their operation. They are both certified instructors for CHL, and their plans for the “advanced training” are sick. Not full “John Wick” but on the way.

Yes! So much so CAPT! I am free on Sunday finally! Any thoughts on a day?
If you split 1 bay between 3-4 people the price isn't bad. I think it was $15-25/person per hour. Also you have to shoot their ammo if you rent a gun. Really cool place though!
