Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)
The moment you lift, put bigger tires and extra weight on your mpg is going in the shitter. Be prepared for smiles per gallon. Not miles. I get like 17 on the highway if I keep It at 65. My truck loves 60mph

For anyone wondering about the chili I cooked yesterday, it's very easy
    • 1.25 lb. ground beef (I used 93/7)
    • 1/2 chopped onion
    • 1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
    • 1 15 oz. can kidney beans, not drained
    • 1 15 oz. can pinto beans, not drained
    • 2 10 oz. can diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
    • 1/2 green pepper diced
    • 1 tsp. ground cumin
    • 1 tbsp.chili powder
    • 1 tsp. black pepper
    • 1 tsp. salt
    Instructions
    1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef and onion. Drain if necessary.
    2. Add all the other ingredients to the pot. Bring to a soft boil and then simmer for 30 minutes to an hour.
    3. Serve.

King made some 3.0s for the Taco for the front coilovers. Im not sure about the rear. I would assume they are more for full size like a Raptor or Silverado prerunner race truck.

Speaking of race trucks, @Darkgoatracer should get them. The fronts are ~ $2900 I think  from @Downsouth Motorsports

EDIT: Only $2900! thats a deal and a half!

I know... and that's why I am trying to stay somewhat conservative. I already have the Wildkpeaks at 265/75/16's and don't plan on going to 285's or E rated tires. Not for a while at least... once this truck is no longer a daily driver, then it's a different story. But that's the main reason I am staying conservative on weight and not going with bigger tires.

This! I can manage 20-22 mpg on my commute in the 45-60 mph range. Anything over 60, the mpg drops rapidly to 16-18.

Edit: Luckily for me, my commute is 95% back roads so I can maintain those 45-60 speeds.

The sliders? Mobtown said about 160lbs installed so slightly on the heavier side but they are absurdly beefy.

Ahh, I have Tyger Nerf Bars which are pretty sturdy for ding-duty and are probably half the weight. I feel like I am eating up a lot of the payload on stuff like this, but would like to get proper sliders. My factory payload with my configuration is only 970lbs (DCSB, tech package 4x4 w/ sunroof).
