    It’s a new drl board that replaces your stock led drl with brighter white leds, and blinks orange led’s with your turn signal.

    DRL = Daytime Running Light

    Switchback = Normally 1 color but does another color/function when second wire is activated Example White LED as DRL switches to Amber flashing turn signal then switchesBACK to white after turn

    Just so I understand correctly... if I wanted to do this and have you add the Diode Dynamics DRL it would cost me $480 plus shipping for you to ship me those headlights and me to ship you back my headlights?

    $480 includes shipping to you, you cover the return shipping. But yes, you get the new headlights in, install them, then ship me back your stock ones.

    Do the switchbacks keep the functionality of the OEM inner turn signal and if so are they synced with said turn signal? I've seen some demos of switchbacks that had a delay when compared to OEM.

    They do retain the stock turn signals. They get wired together so they should sync up perfectly.

    Maybe someone can chime in with a video of them working together?

    When you have a switchback either dtrl or halo you will need to tap the Amber turn power. This wire is typically a 12v pulse, hence your “turn” signal. As they are on the same circuit, there is no noticeable delay and they sync.

    The delays I think your referring to is the difference in bulb types. The led should in theory give you the preception on instant on off when current is passing through the diode. Your stock incandescent bulb is being heated by a current hot enough to burn the filament inside creating the visible light. This process has a small preceiable “delay” both before the blink and then after. You don’t really notice it until you pair the light on the same circuit as an led. The lights are synced but the bulb will have a glow to it before and after instead on an instant on off.
