    It was where I got my original idea to investigate a wrap kit for ours, which led to John making one for ours.

    That design is based off the ZZPerformance pulley wrap kit for 3800 series gen 1 and 2 engines on the Pontiac GTP and Buick Regal GS M90's.

    Yes we have. Multiple members already run the pulley wrap kit John has created, including myself. It's been discussed in multiple pages and I also posted about it on page 1. I am currently investigating a way to improve on the idea by turning it into a dual pulley wrap design to ensure there is no loss of boost due to supercharger pulley slippage. The trouble is, if you create more wrap you create more tension on the belt which creates additional pressure on the tensioner, so the dual wrap mod (if I can make it happen and work) may end up only being doable for members running a stronger tensioner.

    Oh yeah, you are right I forgot about that. My initial doubt was there was not enough wrap which would make a notable change.

    His mod stopped a lot of my issues and even made boost build up more stable, but I think some slip issues are still present for me. Since I stepped down .2 inches further since I first installed the mod I think the slippage is definitely more notable now, even with the upgraded fleetrunner belt.

    That was the problem. Many people purchased pulleys from their website to no end cause they stop making them. Curious when NST actually started making them again.

    They probably have extra crank pulleys from all the oil leaks lol. I’ll be curious if they redesigned the diameter to offset the steel sleeve.

    Both. The NST is definitely lighter and bigger in diameter. The kit came with a different fan pulley and tensioner pulley to offset the SC overdrive pulley.

    The larger NST overdrive pulley produced almost 2 extra lbs of boost
