CZ really makes some fine firearms. I have a P07. Its a tank. Looking at a 557 Varmint in .308 for a deer rifle.

Well, p64 is ordered. With spare mag and 2 boxes of ammo. $333.00 to the door with shipping and tax.now the wait.

 

Yup I have my 03. I haven't had any issue with it. You can get dealer discounts at some places if you send it to them. Brownells is one who will do discounts. Don't remember who all else will

 

You can geek out and go custom with a 455 pretty easily too. 455 Varmint TPC with a rifle basix trigger and a few other goodies. I even found a similar bolt knob to the Badger to match my .308. The CZ is bigger in Aus/NZ and Europe

 

I ended up picking up the 509t for 919 kinda just out of convenience...

there aren't private FFLs here and all brick and mortars take a cut if you go through them anyways, which would add to the shipping price

then we're a fucking shitty state so I have to get all 3 mags blocked, which is usually $20/per here

Now I just gotta take the serial number down to the police station across town and apply for a permit

then wait 2 weeks until the background check is done

then I have 6 days to pick up the permit and bring it back to the gun shop, to show them

then I have to finish the purchase at the gun shop, and bring it back to the police station within 6 days to finish the registration

There used to be a good variety of C&R items to purchase. Now your only choices are junk and high dollar collector items. Nothing in between. SKS's were $150. Now they are $399.

 

I am saddened to hear this is the process in Hawaii. California is not quite that bad, but trying to be.

 

Yea, the good stuff's not around anymore. But there's still some goodies out there.

 

Depends what you are looking for. All the common crap (garands, SKS's, mosins, ect) yeah they have dried up a bit. But still tons of cool stuff out there

 

Used my trusty Taurus PT111 G2 this weekend to take care of this big bastard. One shot from about 7 feet to the head and exited about 3 inches behind the head.
