The Lair

Mine did both when I hit a deer. I took it to a shop and picked and chose what I wanted fixed and what I didnt. They credited my deductible for a few of the extra parts I had laying around I had them reuse versus purchasing replacements.

 

My passenger side wheel bearing took a shit today so I ordered a new one from @05Taco4x4. Only downside is it won’t be here in time for the wheeling trip this weekend, so I also ordered a dorman assembly through @RockAuto. Once the better quality one comes in, I’ll swap them out and carry the dorman as a spare.

Sounds like friday afternoon could be a massive mod day

 

The Dorman comes in on Wednesday, so I'll be swapping it in Thursday. Luckily it's an easy job and I can do it in about an hour.

 

That's how I got my rear bumper. Only ended up costing me $50, Take the check and run situation.

 

Not really sure of where we are going or what on friday but if you could spot weld my fog tabs on friday I would give you a big ole bear hug

 

Yeah Fridays plans are a little up in the air but we could try and do that. All I know is the end goal is to be at AOAA camp grounds Friday before it gets dark, so about 5pm. Which means leaving my place at 1:30 or so.

 

Not sure we will even be there by then. Meeting adam somewhere along 77 in charlotte at 6 am

 

If there's time Sunday we can always swing by my place on the way south. I'll have to take a look at your bumper and how easy it is to access the fog area, but it shouldn't take any time to weld the tabs on. Maybe 15 minutes including getting tools out

 

If @EatSleepTacos has a swing out tire carrier on his mobtown rear bumper can i get a good shot of it? It may help me describe what i am looking for in a rear bumper.

 

I do but it’s the old style. It’s since been updated a couple times so @Comatose would be the best one to ask for pics. He’s got their new one.
