Mr. Projekt's Cement Truck

After building two other Tacomas, I bought this truck brand new, and I'm slowly building it to be a fun daily driver that can get me wherever I need to go.

The day I brought her home:




First mod: Wife made me some custom sandstone coaster inserts

 

had to break it in the right way... went out to a buddies vineyard / farm and went shooting

 

saw a tree fall across the road on my way home from work blocking both lanes.... cars started turning around, so I broke out a tow strap and pulled the tree out of the road to clear at least one lane.

also, a buddy of mine bought a 5th gen 4Runner and he came over and we put a leveling kit and 265s on it

black one is on 285s
white one is on 265s

I loved the 4Runner TRD Pro wheels but wanted the 8" width...

(who says you cant fit 285s on stock suspension?!?) The rub actually wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be

 

bumper and winch arrived!!!

 

lift time....

I bought my wife a 5th gen 4Runner a few years ago... put a Toytec Ultimate lift on... she decided that it was time for a change (ride quality)

so on Saturday I put the Old Man Emu HD lift on her 4Runner (got her some SCS wheels and BFGs as well so it was ready for winter time!)







And on Sunday, I put the lift on my Tacoma!

cmon Toyota... can get get some better Bilsteins to come stock on these trucks.....

had to poke some fun with a coworker's (stock) TRD Pro

 

@Large BajaBlast came over and we installed both of our SSO bumpers w/ winches...

thanks Bill! Yea, I knew I was going to eventually do a build thread, so I started cataloging pictures from when I first got the truck so it was pretty easy to get rolling
