Just want to share some pictures with y'all. Took a trip out with my girl to Devils River State Park this weekend. Pretty awesome place, did some camping and exploring.

Just dropped my truck off at Universal Toyota to have the TSB done. Dealer said it’s not covered under warranty after 36,000 miles. Did anyone else have to pay for theirs? If so, what’s it cost? He didn’t get that far into talking with me because he said they had to drive it and then find out which one applies... hoping I don’t have to take it to another dealer.

Good deal man, fingers crossed for ya that it doesn't come back. I should have mentioned to disconnect and reconnect the battery. Apparently that resets something in the ECU and might have prevented the initial hesitation. But, sounds like it has already smoothed out now. Hope I steered you right and that was the fix! :)

I was super hopeful that this was the root of the problem.. but unfortunately the truck has still been stuttering and running lean on the passenger bank.. Tuner doesn't even know what could be causing this. My truck is the only one he hasn't solved the problems on in 10+ years

Yea, that's not cool, especially when there is a TSB out for a specific problem. Seems to me that may fall under powertrain warranty? I don't know, maybe not, but its BS that they are trying to charge you.

I’m hoping they aren’t going to. I remember seeing the PDF of the high altitude TSB that showed it being covered up to 80,000 miles. I need to print that off and bring it in.

Perhaps he was just implying that my transmission is past warranty so if there is an issue that a TSB can’t fix, then I was liable to pay. Who knows. We’ll see how’s it plays out.

So what is everyone hungry for, we can go somewhere like chili’s or a burger, or a good Mexican restaurant... I’m looking at the 410 Callaghan area currently as @BuzzMor works down off Callaghan.
