I'll get setup with Rafael to get all the V2 calibrations for SC sent out. at the moment it will be for SC versions : YWG30 through YWG44

I have checked and believe we now have all pending handhelds finished. (and a few people switching to flash kits).
which is great news!.. and a painful process.
The last ecu that I had on my list to implement has now been added.

We will be, with our SC V2 calibrations bringing the handheld option back but ONLY for the supercharged version of the truck (MUST have TRD calibration already installed) as these versions have not given us any trouble with the handhelds.

**I cannot promise it at the moment, but we are looking into having them pre-configured so you will not need a computer at all**

only SC calibrations via handheld, N/A calibrations will still require flash kit since there are so many versions and issues with a few of them.

    https://www.ovtuned.com/collections...a-tacoma-4-0l-1gr-supercharged-handheld-tuner

our flash kit will still remain for the Naturally aspirated versions of the truck.

Absolutely terrible process but we're finally there.

Also of course our flash kits remain for SC folks who want to log and custom tune

Got back with you via email your ecu is supported

    Tune package sent out

@OVTune, I'm trying to buy an unused handheld for SC Tacoma 4.0 . My truck is N/A, i understand that there is a license transfer fee, about 80 dollars. If i purchase this Handheld from another member do i have to then trade it in for the flash kit now?

No you do not, I recall talking to you via email about this? As long as your ECU is supported it is fine. We are just not doing new N/A handhelds at this time.

How do we find out if there is updates to the na tune without going through 50 pages of this forum?
Is it on the Orange Virus website anywhere?

You don’t have to read all 50 pages. It’s on the 1st page.

    @OVTune

Whats the best way to view and export datalogs from the handheld? Ran a few datalogs, connected to laptop, ran ovtune software to export datalogs, but the logs are not formatted for MS Excel.

Just installed the 91 octane tune on my 2008. First impressions that were noticeable after driving it for 20 minutes were that first and second stays in gear for about 500 rpm longer than before. Cruising at 45mph the transmission would be able to stay in 5th gear going over hills that would normally kick it into 4th before. Doing some hard pulls onto the interstate it did feel slightly faster. I did not tell Mat that I have a CAI/headers/y-pipe/3" exhaust setup, but I don't know if it would have made any difference for my tune anyways, but I emailed to let him know regardless. I'll let the ECU do its thing for at least a few weeks before I make any solid conclusions.

Sounds like my experience. I'm about 8000 miles on the 91 and overall it's a better experience over stock. Going to try the 87.

You have any mods done? I'm wondering if Mat could make me a 93 tune
