Can you quote me the statistics of the amount of successful suits that were based on accidents due to over payload, concerning passenger vehicles? not including big rigs

I have no idea. My comments earlier were just something to consider. Was in no way talking to the actual statistical likelihood of anything negative occurring -- which I would imagine is close to negligible.

I personally would not be worried about a ticket. As I mentioned, what would worry me is the remote chance of an accident and any liability.

Are you going to lift your truck and put bigger tires on it? That's going to make your speedo diffent than the intended manufacturer design. How about stopping distance being longer than factory? How about tint? That's gonna make your vehicle more difficult to see pedestrians.

My point being anything you do besides bullshit Walmart parts carrys liability.

Its inherent with the whole nature of the beast of modifying your vehicle.

So unless your going to stay stock because you are worried about being sued, well, you shouldnt drive at all. Your chances of being sued raise highly when you drive.

You should take the bus. Hopefully you dont get sued for spilling coffee on someone.

    A thing or two...
The 3" OEM King coilovers have an internal bypass. It functions like an external bypass would but it's internal to the coilover, so you don't have extra tubes hanging off the shock body and get the benefit of a bypass with only running one shock. You need a 3" shock to fit the internal bypass. I doubt there's much (if any) extra oil for extra heat capacity for preventing shock fade, hence the finned reservoir. I haven't seen any specs, but I doubt they give any more travel than the standard 2.5" OEM Kings, and as @fatfurious2 said, they're expensive AF.

Are you buying Kings for your LT setup? Or are you going to run OEM Kings before you buy your LT kit? If it's for the LT kit, just stick with the 2.5"x8" coilover that's spec'ed for the LT setup that you're buying.

They make 3" 2-tube bypass rear shocks to go with the 3" IBP coilovers. They're a mere $2400. https://downsouthmotorsports.com/i-...yota-tacoma-2wd-pre-runner-4wd-33001-210.html

Ooof you volunteered for that? I was just glad I'm on nights this month I was on days for it last year, and traffic was miserable and they started closing my damn route on me as I was on it.

Probably flagpole knob. That’d be a lot of fun in the snow! Or green ridge.

I haven’t been there in a hot minute! Only time I’ve been was my very first wheeling trip with my truck and all I had were tires. I’d love to go back.

I was thinking green ridge would be sweet for it. When you move to Ohio, you gotta drive up to UP in the state up north or wisconsin and go drive out on a lake in the taco. I was passenger in some mild ice drifting before and it was pretty intense.

Oh I’m 99% moving south to Chesapeake so I won’t be too terribly far. My wife wasn’t a big fan of the pediatrics program there.
