haha you might need one! Some of the roads near where i worked at (Northwest Annex) got crazy flooded, youd have a blast out there. after hurricane mathew a few of them were closed for a couple months until water receded. That base is pretty much in the middle of the dismal swamp.

 

shoot I kinda want to go wheeling on wednesday, maybe i'll go there. you think its safe to solo it?

Voluntold, I didn’t volunteer.

 

Thats the worst, my unit last week had to Voluntell someone to go the redskins game because no one cares about them, but we needed someone there for some sort of comms thing (didnt even have to be in uniform!) Glad I was asleep and didnt answer my phone on my day off for that shit.

 

I already paid extra to get it quicker. It’ll be here Wednesday.

 

ahh damn, i mean technically i could go thursday i have my stupid service wide in the morning, but im off that day.

 

So I'm not going long travel anymore. But I do plan on going extended travel and need something that can handle speed better.

Id definitely like to go somewhere on wednesday i havent been wheeling in over a month i've got the itch. and i have a winch now too incase of an emergency.

 

Do you have the tools and knowledge to go with that? At a minimum you should carry one snatch block, tree saver, dampening blanket and a few shackles.

As far as learning about it (if you don’t already know) YouTube is a great resource.

 

You talking Hampton area or norfolk/Suffolk?

 

I have been watching some videos, there are somethings i still need to get. I ordered more shackles that should be here today or tomorrow. definitely a lot more to learn for sure. I'm not trying to put my self in a position to use it anytime soon thats for sure. we did spool it under weight though lol.
