Good or bad weather. I never leave home without my gear.

 

Oh, i have gear, and usually can get through without it. But occasionally......

 

You know how it goes. If you have it you won’t need it. But that one time you don’t is the day everything goes wrong. Lmao

 

I had to use it with @EatSleepTacos a few weeks ago, but ever since i started keeping straps in the cab and wired in winch switches in the center console, recovery is crazy fast

 

Are you using a toggle switch?

 

I have a 2 switch setup. 1 to enable controls, and one 2 position rocker for in-out controls

 

When I get a winch I want those switches for my set up. I like those buttons

nice setup. I’m running an Spod. Still have to wire up my inturrupt kit for
My winch. With your in-out rocker is it straight to the winch?

 

The left switch cuts the control single with a relay and only works with ignition power. The right goes straight to the winch. They are taking the place of the wired controller while adding in a safety.

 

Ok so your in-out switch is straight to your winch. That’s a smart idea.

 

How else would you do it? I mean, 12v control power comes from the winch, through the 2 switches, and straight back.
