That was just for a quick picture, that is not how or where I usually park it. But good looking out.

Congratulations on your new ride, even more so for getting the color you really wanted. So since you've had plenty of time to think about it, what's the future mods for this Taco?

Surprised you bought one after being here so long. This place can get you paranoid quickly. I know it did with my 15 I had.

Being in Louisiana, vent visors are on the list. This one has the gray interior, so seat covers and maybe see if anyone nearby has the orange dash trim and want to swap, or I may just paint it. I like the current suspension ( I know I am the minority there), but I love the way it hugs the curves, I guess that comes from riding the bike.

Well, I figured out most of the complaining is from people expecting way too much from the truck because you know, its a 40k dollar truck.
I just came from a 2005 Dodge Dakota, I have been living with low expectations for 13 years. That truck has the V8 and let me tell you, the Tacoma can generate the same feeling, just at a higher RPM. It's all about how you drive it. Again, I guess it comes from riding a sport bike,on that I can either cruise around and constantly shift from 3rd and 4th, hanging around 4-5k rpm or i can open her up on the interstate and hold 6th at a high rpm. Sure, the engine is screaming, but its not hurting a damn thing.

Hey, what's wrong with posting on the forum without owning a Tacoma? :anonymous::bananadead:

I bought mine in August after my 2001 ranger lost 3rd gear. The Taco is awesome compared to the ranger edge with plastic flooring and plastic seats.

Thank you. I've had that bike for 1 year now, I used to ride a 2003 Honda Shadow that I bought brand new in 04. I have had good luck with Honda bikes.

Im also a Honda man, myself. My 954RR took everything I threw at her, and then some.

Wish Honda understood the truck market a little better...
