I like them a lot. Very comfortable, I would just get some elastic cord to put through the grommets, along with a toggle to tighten down the flap over your boots. There is some elastic in the bottom cuff.

I'm on the Facebook coues deer hunting group.
It came off the San Carlos reservation. Really mature coues buck , with so much mass and character.
I hunt 24a and 24b around the San Carlos so I know there are really big bucks over there.

Another side shot - my hunt is first week of December. Hopefully bucks chasing does...the 6.5 Creedmore is ready to rock!

Here is Cam Hanes 9x10 he arrowed on the San Carlos in September 2018.
The Rez has some great habitat, management and much less hunting pressure.
The result are animals that are truly incredible, right in our backyard.
I'm no trophy hunter, quite the opposite all public land - but I can appreciate these treasures.

Good to hear. And sounds like a good excuse to stock up on shock cord. Lol. My dad sells them so I'm getting them super cheap but also I read reviews on them saying they were lighter and more flexible than other brands so it sounded like the right direction to go.

Man, that buck is truly once in a life time!

Good luck on your hunt and I'm a bit jealous of your rifle. I've been lusting for a m1a chambered in 6.5 creed ever since they released them.

    Just finished this:IMG_20181029_193139586.jpg

It's from the two I shot last weekend. Since the shotty tore the skins up so badly, I thought this would be a good way to "mount" them. I like it.

Just got back from my deer hunt in unit 10. We were on them but could never get a good line of sight for a shot! Spent 2 days chasing that buck. From what I could tell he has at least points and decent size.
Worn out and need to clean all my gear as we got a shower that was long enough to get everything wet. Think I may just put in for elk next year in a different unit. Unit 10 has kicked my ass the last couple of years.

At least how many points? That's a tough beat man. Sucks you couldn't get a shot.

4 points per side when I was glassing, but that was at 750 yards. Good size buck but when I tried to make a move I just could not get a good shot. Plus our radios failed us at the worst time but it was fun just being one them. I would have taken a shot at 400 if I could have got a good shooting point but that land is just unforgivable. If you drop down then you loose your sight lines.

That's a big buck! Sucks with the sight lines... that's the situation all too often in our mountain ranges here in AZ. When I was scouting I found a freshly and heavily used bedding area under a bush/tree on a ridgeline. The next week I approached in the opposite direction and tried to find a spot in the flats that I could glass it from and take a shot if it happened to be a buck's favorite place to lay his head. I was either 800 yards out or I couldn't see it. Pretty fucking aggregating. Hopefully it's a doe, because I've either got to be right on top of it (maybe 30 yards) or out beyond .243 range, to see it.
