Maple Syrup goes on everything up here. I sometimes even put in my coffee If I get it from the gas station and it's real bitter. Yes I keep it in the truck.
never know may get stuck in blizzard. real maple syrup will not freeze water will.

 

I couldn’t even imagine ham without real maple syrup.

I'm good Chris. How're you doing? Any word on what's going on @ work with you yet?

 

Nope. They just keep dragging it out. They had me do the Permanent partial dissability test 6 months ago and settled an award about 4 1/2 months ago and haven't ever sent that yet. I heard I have been passed on from risk management to HR but nobody will say anything. It has caused problems the whole heart thing was anxiety the Doc said most likely caused by constant pain and the issues at work. They apparently don't care. I finally told the boss tell them let me go or retrain me but lets get something settled. Christie and I are going in to talk to the attny the end of next month to discuss options.
In the mean time. We haven't let it hold us back. We've been on the road quite a bit going on camping trips and went to Va Tech this past weekend for our youngest's last band parent weekend. We've done quite a bit of camping and running around the last few months at least we have fun with that.

 

Awe that really sucks!!! Definitely get a lawyer and hopefully get something done. good your heart issue was just anxiety. I've seen some of your pics - definitely looks like you guys are having fun. Keep that up!!

 

Good to hear camping is ok. I don't understand why they won't settle at work. You have proof from a doctor, you have worked hard and yet they wont help.
They either think you are gaming the system or they are gaming the system.

 

Good evening. As expected, El Paso was a great big pain in the ass. The freeway was shut down. We had to exit the freeway, go through surface streets then back to the freeway. The kicker is there were no detour signs so traffic was one big goat screw. Just luckily I got on a street that took us right back but beyond the closure.

So, got here about 1830 local, went to my son's house, met the new granddaughter. Now we're checked in to the hotel and I'm kicking back

 

I remember when we were in Vermont, we had a maple creamie. That was the best.

Back in 2012 I was found permanent and stationary status for my shoulder injury after being on workers comp for 10 years . After this finding I hired a workers comp lawyer and then after that it took another 3 years until a decision was made in my favor and i was found 80% disabled and only to perform sedentary work environment

I also was awarded a very large cash settlement
