Got impatient waiting for the group buy. So I got this faux pro grill from ebay (US seller). It took 3 days from ordering to delivery. Everything arrived in a well packaged box (grill and “TOYOTA” logo)

I will take some more pictures during the day.

Oh there will be some mods all right
No, but I'm full throttle all the time, I drive it pretty hard. I always change the oil on time (every 5000) but I'm still nervous.

Looking to add a USB port in the cockpit - what's the preferred unit? I prefer something without a back light or otherwise light up glow...No volts indicator needed - just bare bones.
    Thanks

I've had vibes from warped rotors - caused by sticky calipers - pulling to one side, bad mileage, bad tire wear and so on. To the point where I'm on my 3rd set of calipers ad 130K miles. Next brake job will not be cheap but it had better solve my issues or this truck is gone...2006 base model.
Where do you feel it most? Brake pedal, steering wheel or other?

Tomorrow will be the true test, when I get on the highway. I felt it all over to be honest. The steering wheel would shake, the truck itself would feel like it would shake... And sometimes it would feel like it would come and go.

Really hoping it was as "simple" as that, rotors and pads. Guess we'll see tomorrow.

If the caliper sticks - the rest is just collateral damage...

    I'm pissed - every 30K I need to swap calipers? Yeah, no - there's 2 solutions:
    better calipers
    new truck

I'm done messing around. Why is my POS subject to poor components? Oh, it's the cheap parts used for max mark-up by the shops. Not dropping $700 again - NFW.

got this from bullet proof fabricating, expensive if you buy the complete grill but cheaper if you diy.

Added an LED light to the bottom side of my tonneau cover but because of the distance from the bed when the tonneau is fully opened I didn't get much flood light from it.... so I ran a LED strip around the bed sides that I found on Ebay for $6. Ran it thru a switch just inside the bed and I do like how it turned out. What do you guys think? 20181029_210738.jpg 20181029_203535.jpg

Hmmm interesting. did you always use Amsoil or switched over recently? I've used amsoil on my previous cars with good results (oil analysis) although have not even done so with my Tacoma due to previous history. Now I want to get one.

First time using amsoil in my truck and in general. First oil change outside of the first 5 free ones from the factory.

If its only when braking it could be warped rotors, Depending on your speed the shake will be different. When you come to a slow stop did your brakes feel like they would grab once or twice per tire rotation? I have had a ton of warped rotors in the past because I drove old cars hard and braked harder. At highway speeds warped rotors can feel like the ford death wobble when braking hard.
