It's a much shinier plastic, and there a very visible mold lines on the bend. The snorkel head mesh looked to be a cheaper "rubber-y" plastic as well...

Does the top precleaner head have outlets for water and such like the ARB one?

Is this section eventually water-sealed to the body?
Or does it not need to be

Thinking if it were submerged in water
Any internal modifications needed to do this?

To peggy back on this I think water would hit your lower door jams first before it hits the fenders snorkel tube. Any how don’t install this expecteing to be able to cross a river or pond up to the side of your fenders deep. There’s other areas and components that would be affected first. Get it for the mall crawler and IG status :)

Doesn't seem like a bad product at all, a little thinner then the arb, wonder if it can take a hit and not crack. Probably be the only concern.

You could always coat it with a bed liner of some type.

Then hurry up with buying. The ebay listing says "Limited quantity remaining ( 3 available / 4 sold) ". You have no guarantee that when (or if) this falls apart you will find it on ebay and/or for that price again. If not, you will end up with big hole in a fender ;).

Ever since this thread started with @m3bassman install photos the quantity has be dropping and watch list growing. What a coincidence :)

As for having to buy another one I’ll take my chances. We can what if this all day long.

Now to see if I’m going to line x my bed or just raptor line it....

had a fabricator friend make it for me. We designed the cross bars to come off with the tent so that it doesn't need to be re-centered every time i put it on or off, and i still have full use of the bed. Used the headache bar to mount my antenna.
