I think I’m gonna take the old Yota up to the smokies and camp for a night or two this November. It’ll have to be in one of the camp sites that is open passed October so I gotta do some research. And I’ll probably cruise some of the scenic paved and Unpaved roads up there. Haven’t decided if I wanna go to the TN side or the NC side. Anyone on here who’s interested is welcome to go. But it’s gonna be on my offdays which are (sun, mon, tues). Like leave Sunday morning, get there that afternoon and explore a bit, Camp, spend Monday exploring/driving/hiking and come back Tuesday morning

 

I'm happy, got one of my biggest paying and easiest jobs of the year on my birthday.

 

lets have a fun discussion, how much is everyone paying in property tax this year.

My 2050 sqft house on .53 acres costs more than 3500 sqft on 55 acres. location is a bitch.

 

I have 1630 sq ft house on ~ 5 acres and its about $550 which is up like $70 from last year and my location is generally considered the midst of neigh

 

think mines gonna be like $1500, but idk yet since this years isn't homestead exempted.

seller paid for this years, but i can tell you without homestead my place was around 2500.

 

Think mine is between $1,500 - $1,700. Just got the bill but, can’t find it.

 

Well I mean its not like you own the property... I guess its kinda like club dues you gotta pay to be in the state club

 

I paid about $1,500 last year because I could not claim homestead. 2100 sq ft on an acre in South Huntsville.

This year I have claimed homestead and it will be about half at roughly $750

 

I’ll be in the area camping November 17-21. Going to start in Chattanooga,TN, work our way to Asheville, NC, and then back down in to Helen, GA.

Will be mostly centered around hiking and beer.

 

What Jimbo said, mine are welded, consider the power coat for texture though if you plan to step on them. The bottoms/sides may get scratched, but the top should stay textured, that could drive some people crazy though.

 

I need to put the grip tape stuff on mine....just keep wearing the paint off with my foot.

 

On another note, I love staying at a Marriott Residence Inn. Just got free burgers, chips, cookies, and beer for dinner lol

 

I love staying there to. Thats where work puts us up everytime they send us somewhere

Tried my hand at “photography” with my wife’s Nikon d3200. Dirty headlights with trail rash but I still like how it came out. No edit

 

This is why I hate VW. 2019 Jetta. Flat tire. No spare, no jack, no lug wrench, and 10 pt internal star lug nuts.
