Is it worth it and noticeable in regards to the light output? I am currently running Xentec HID’s, 55W and I had a ballast go out after a year of use, emailed xentec and they sent me new advanced slim ballast with a new bulb and now I’m going into year two of zero issues! I have a spare ballast and bulb sitting in case one burns out so I know they’ll last me at least 1.5 yr more. I have no “shake” as some HID users report, absolutely zero issues with my $40 HID kit besides the ballast that was replaced under warranty.

I keep seeing how “amazing” the higher priced HID’s are and am wondering if it’s worh it. The xentec HID’s I have now are a 1000% improvement over stock and are super bright to me.
Black Friday is coming up and I’m sure there will be sales so that’s why I am asking for some honest non-biased feedback. Just seeing if I can really justify spending $120+ on something that isn’t a night/day difference than what I have now.

    Thanks!

Save your money. Sounds like Xentec has great customer service. I just installed morimoto 4500k 35w HIDs and the only comparison I can make is that they are way way better than my Auxbeam LED's

    That’s what I figured.

I just didn’t know if the output from these higher priced kits was worth it to ditch my current set up for it.

    Thanks for the insight!
