    This and that...
Already assembled. My friend had a garage and everything where he kept his track car. Work offered to pay for all expenses and the cost of move to Portland for the project he’s currently working on for the next 6-8 months. That’s happening this weekend...So hopefully I won’t be sitting on it till then. Will try solo after awhile I guess.

Yep, I agree. Just better safe than sorry and the lucky person wouldn’t walk away empty handed. Win win.

alright peeps looking for a used commuter vehicle probably 70k-100k miles....keeping the turd gen for snowy days. Wife currently has an Outback and never had issues.

    Settled on two options:
    Toyota Prius
    Subie Impreza

Anything to be on the look out for especially Prius vehicles? If I go Hybrid any issues with those batteries with high mileage? Anyone on here selling either of the two makes mentioned above?

One thing with Imprezas in that mileage range is that they will be due for a timing belt and possibly head gaskets as well.

An officer that ran through some emergency trainings at the school I teach at said never do your banking at Bank of the West. Reason, they get robbed the most and then proceeded to name a couple that get robbed on the regular.

I'd say prius, or just go with an accord or civic.

Older Subarus will probably have issues or "normal" oil burning.

I think you're pretty much good to go with any out there. You'll have timing belt maintenance at whatever interval the model years you're looking at call for (usually 90-110k or so). IMO if you find a maintained stock car you'll be good to go. Avoid anything with mods since its probably cheap junk that'll lead to other headaches. Higher mileage auto transmissions would be the only possible problem area, if someone just flushed the auto transmission fluid, I'd probably avoid it. Flushing the older trans can easily make your hard shifting transmission not shift anymore.

If you want to class it up a little, Acura TLs are nice.

In my immediate family, we've had about 10 Honda's, 5 myself and nothing has ever had an issue.

One thing I have learned when looking for used cars is most are junk and the clean ones demand a pretty penny. Scratch that, they all demand a pretty penny. You should see how many rebuilt vehicles there are up here in Montana asking clean title prices. It’s absurd!

Yeah i have come to realize that used prices fetch a premium. Was looking at a camery or rav4 for a daily as well as a honda civic. Found a 2014 camery with 120k on it dealer still wanted 10500 for it kind of waiting for somthing with less miles and of course it sold.

Does anyone know of good dealer with used vehicles for those of us to look at?
