what’s up people. I am in Dallas TX. Been a Chevrolet guy and never owned anything else. I have had 4 silverados and tomorrow my new Tacoma arrives. I wanted to reach out to hopefully get some assistance on some things I want to do to this Toyota in the future. I was skeptical at first about going to a smaller truck but the more I look the more pumped I am about it arriving. I look forward to learning more from you fellow Tacoma drivers.

Made the switch from a 2006 Silvy to a Tacoma. Steering feels tighter and better, cabin is smaller and less comfortable, especially for a big guy. Tacoma is easier to work on and overall better built...I'm not sorry I made the switch.

I went from a 2006 Regular Cab 1500 LT to a 2018 DoubleCab Limited.... loving it so far. As stated, cabin is a bit smaller but I am adjusting... 6'2 215lbs over here.

Thanks everyone. Now I’m off to find a thread on lifting this bad boy. I can honestly say I’ve never heard anything bad about a Tacoma. I sell cars for a living and drove a few Tacoma’s out to my customers. Short rides but liked the drive for sure. Seems strang going from a bigger truck to smaller truck but I’m convinced I’ll like it and now actually excited about it.

Welcome! I had my third Gen for two years, alas it leaves me shortly out of necessity. I had my own problems with it, but I would buy it again for sure. Enjoy the truck! It is very capable in stock format, even with the stock tires!
