I saw this earlier on the news and what a tragedy it is. I could only imagine what that poor family is going through. May god be with them all... You can tell how fast that Tacoma was traveling based on the damage. Why was that dummy going so fast around a school bus?!?

Man I don't think we can comprehend how awful their parents feel right now. Prayers for all those involved.

Sad. This even made local news all the way here in Hawaii. Had no idea it was a taco tho. Very heartbreaking. RIP...

Life lesson for her. Very sad that it had to be so brutal. I just can't imagine what the parents are going through. My wife and I talk about life lessons all the time with our kids. We just hope they listen.

Heartbreaking. May we all slow down and exercise additional caution during our commutes.

Extremely tragic. I heard the news from my co-worker earlier today, my co-worker said that there was only a $15k bond on the driver. That's some BS. Gone too soon and prayers to the family.:(

First off, condolences to the family.
As much as i like car forums...this is one of the things i hate being posted relating to with certain car makes/models.
Toyota/Tacoma/3rd gen has nothing to do with this forum/sub-forum unless the car directly caused this.
Pardon my venting but as a father....this tragedy is disgusting.

It is relevant. The new TSS system might have prevented this.

Yea, I don’t disagree. The bus was stopped with lights flashing, arm out, etc.

Might? Is TSS supposed to stop incidents from now on? Sorry, "might" doesn't matter in this situation.

If you want to vent, you might want to go find a biker bar and pick a fight with someone else.

I don’t like the fact some dumb ass killed three children because their phone was more important.

I am curious to know the year of the Tacoma and whether it had TSS.
