If its the fork Im thinking of, I did that by mistake and then came out of it on the last option back to the right. It wasnt too bad after I tried the wrong line 4-5 times.

As you go up TOTW trail, there is a split. Left is the harder side, right is easy.

The left(hard) side has a lot of ledges and a narly off camber right turn that puts you into a tree if you get to close or slide

Ah, that one. We saw a few pretty big Jeeps barely making it up that because one had lost its rear end. We decided that wed go right. Had one guy in a stock 03 with 270,xxx miles on it and the original clutch. He didnt tell us that until we started up. He is required to fix that before we ride again.

I believe it’s this one. I ended up having to back down and take the right fork from the side. A3FF8AFD-273D-4532-8E1B-BE1FCC499066.jpg41A2AB32-4D56-496C-9A85-F3EC44BA5842.jpg And of course pictures don’t do it justice.

It wasn’t happening for me with open diffs. Plus I was by myself cause all my other friends were on dirt bikes and RZRs waiting at the top. Assholes.
Coming down at night was awesome though.

This is the tree I was talking about. It’s just after you turn left to take the hard side 75E124C8-AEB9-41E9-A30B-01310440977B.jpg

Didn't get to catch most on you on the Yankee Hill run today, but ran into @Sub-Zero at a gas station in Idaho Springs on the way out.

Ending up having to turn around half way through because of traction. Tried to back up so a Jeep in front of me could gun it up a icy slope, slid 100m back down the trail. Then the Jeep slid down in front of me.

@Deathbysnusnu That compressor you recommend worked great! From 20psi to 35psi in about 2 min per tire! Hardly got hot at all.

Had a fun and challenging time climbing through the snow to Yankee Hill with @johntoyota, @Sub-Zero, @PaveLow and @Wulf was there ...
    IMG_1499.jpg

… but then there were 4.
    IMG_1498.jpg

After @PaveLow needed a quick tire change ...
    IMG_1501.jpg

We were on the road again.
    IMG_1502.jpg

At the plateau near the top of Yankee Hill, it was snowy and windy with drifts approaching 2 feet in areas.
    IMG_1504.jpg

I tried to blast up through a snow drift to reach the plateau. Everyone was patient with me as I tried to dig and Maxtrax my way to some exposed ground. After three tries I backed down and took the road more travel by, as far uphill as I could. @Sub-Zero, with his front and rear locked rig and the 37 inch tires pulled me the last 75 feet to the plateau. I had needed a pull from @PaveLow earlier in our run up a rocky incline. Thanks for the help!
    IMG_1506.jpg

    Made it!
    IMG_1508.jpg

We did not attempt to climb that last steep incline to the top of Yankee Hill. It was full of snow and there is loose gravel underneath. On the way down, the wind blew the snow off much of the trail. It was easy on the way down.
