I'm looking to replace my front right fender because it has a pretty bad dent in it, bad enough so that the passenger door does't open fully and it is just over all a real eye sore. So i started my search and i found several different kinds of fenders and im unsure of which one to buy. Before you make the comment, I have the paint and am not interested in clear coating it because i want to black it out in the future, not trying to be rude. Getting the dent pulled would be to much and i dont have the equipment to weld something to it to pull it out. I've already tried the hot water/cold water thing with no result but a wet fender. I want to thank in advance all the helpful people that would have offered up those as solutions and I will try and upload a good picture of the fender tomorrow. Also i have the replacement flare in my closet if that helps. I'm still new to the Tacoma and cars in general (this is my first car and I've only had it a couple months). i may have mislabeled the names. And, not to sound needy, but if you know where i can buy the clips that hold the fender flares in place, that would also be much appreciated. Thank you so much for your help in this. Merry Halloween everyone

I’ve seen a couple places selling them, I just don’t know which style fender it is because I have seen a couple different styles. I need one that has the holes to mount a fender flare so it’ll match the rest of the truck

You don’t really “need” the holes, the flare will still mount.

As far as I know, any first gen fender will work, as long as it’s not fancy fiberglass I guess.

So as far as I know the screws that are in your flare now just go into the clips that hold you fender liner up/in.

I can’t remember what clips you use though. I can look in a minute when I get off work
