Gotcha. I would think that should count as a large installment account. Typically from what I understand it's things like student loans, mortgages, other car loans, etc that've been paid on time that help give you credit diversity of whatever it's called, which is what counts towards your interest. Like, a person could have a really good credit score, but if it's only from credit cards, getting a good car loan would be difficult.

Does dropping your name get a buddy discount? Just ordered some armor that I may get powder coated if I don’t just rattle can it.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Hey Jon, I am rolling up to the shop tomorrow. I will ask and see if I can make that happen. They need to Extend their friends/family discount to both TW and ih8mud members.

    Good afternoon my GaTW peeps!

Decided to spend sometime on the Lathe this morning. I wanted to modify my MaxxTraxx mounts to fit the slotted rails on my Prinsu Rack. Sure I could drilled a giant hole directly thru the bars, but that is just too easy.
I cut the threaded ends off the MaxxTraxx mounts with a Lathe and hacksaw, then I used a 1/4 20 Tap to thread the inside of the mount. Pretty cool I must say!

Installed the mounts with tapped studs using 1/4 20 bolts. Decided to add a rubber washer I had to take up a slight bit of slack that the square block on the carriage bolt presented, as it actually sticks out above the Prinsu Rack.

Sounds like my old truck I sold. Was it Satin Black? Did it look like a wrap?

Finally got some time to get my sliders put on from SOS Offroad Concepts. Look great, me and a buddy only took about an hour to get them on and still had time to do some fishing after. Ready for some fun now

Looking good. I’ve been talking with Eddy about getting another set for this truck. Looking to get a set that’s slightly customized to my preferences. I haven’t decided on kickout or no kick out.

Kick out! Your fenders will thank you eventually. But more specifically, it’s easier to grab stuff out of the bed that way. I have put more than a dozen sliders on, and while I do like the look of the normal ones, I have found that the kick out really is the way to go. Just my 2 cents ;)

I will say there is a fine line between lockouts that look good and ridiculous.

I now get sliders with plates...why is this you ask. Well if you have ever slipped on one while mounting your gear on the roof and had your leg almost broken between the bars, then you will know where I am coming from. If my legs weren’t so thick, it would have snapped me like a pencil.

Oh and one more thing, I used to also angle my sliders, to give me a bit more rocker protection. This was also not worth it unless it’s on a Crawler, having them flat gives you more space to stand on.
