Moves like that are aggravating. Don't know where the entitlement comes from.

People drive like that all day every day around the bay area (not saying they dont do it elsewhere), but i drive 200miles a day, back and fourth throughout the bay and i see it nonstop. People jumping into exit lanes just to get a couple cars ahead and jump back into the travel lanes. Pulling into turn lanes at a red light, just so they can gas it when it turns green and jump in front of everyone going straight (ok thats mostly an Oakland thing).

    Shit drives me nuts.

It perpetuates itself too, someone sees someone else do it and get away with it, they figure they can do it too. Its not just the hood areas either, people going down 580 through Pleasanton and 680 down to fremont are some of the worst. People use the exit lanes on hwy 24 like its a "shortcut" around traffic. Hwy4 had gotten so ghetto too.

    /end rant

I see all that too. They think they gain some sort of advantage and lack the brain power to realize they gain nothing, even when you pull up next to them a minute later at the offramp.

My neighbor is a CHP officer. He says his favorite ticket is “improper use of a lane” (I think that’s what he called it)when people jump into the exit lane, pass a few cars and then jump back into traffic.

It bugs me when people aggressively pass me on my motorcycle. I’m just going to pass them via lane splitting when traffic slows down in a few minutes anyway.

I won’t get into it. A lot of people drive to SF everyday and I understand that would drive anyone insane. Or desensitize you. I’ve gotten used to all the moronic moves I see in SF so I won’t lose my hair over it. There was a time where someone pretended to pull over, only to just cut in front of me. 1 whole car length. But okay.

Yup Sonoma State last year thank god! Where the entire neighborhood can hate the house you live in just for being a college kid! :frusty: (Thanks SSU). Only reason I would go with any type of lift is I know one day I will go bigger tires plus running even some of the basic trails with the Jeep would be my goal I think.Even that lift is over a year out I think

Boy, if I had known that a C101(jeepster Commando) would become as valuable today as they have become, I would never had sold mine back in high school...

They appear to be the “it” vehicle for the off-road portion of SEMA this year.

welcome to tw you granola eating hippy! :D

you've got the sr5 oem 16" wheels? get some 265/75/16, which is a good step up from the 245 stock tires. they'll fit without lift.

I use a injector and do beer or a chipotle butter from store sold by bbq sauce in store.
Then rub with whatever rub I have on hand.
Or I use the rub down.
Butter works well or olive oil then dry rub.
