Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
So many jap cars out here. Just getting rear brake backing plates off is a bitch because rust.

New backing plates from Toyota are 233 each. Then 200 each for wheel bearings. All said and done I’m over 800 if I go all new parts. I bought the car for 500. Lol

Dropped it off at Toyota. I got one of the service advisors who actually knows what hes talking about this time too. He said there was definetly something wrong with the pedal feel. I was also hearing a squeak sound coming from the caliper that gave me trouble while he was pressing it, so @zero4 you may be on to something. Looks like the same tech I had look at it last week is gonna diagnose it this time too.

I get shitty mileage with a 5spd too, don't worry. Like he said before, he's got the 3RZ and 4.30s and 5 speed...only thing that would make it even better at MPGs would be if it were 2wd.

Back when my truck was stock minus the supercharger, I once got 315 miles on a tank all highway...I was thrilled. Haven't cracked 300 since and these days I'm lucky to crack 230 lol.

Our trucks are essentially the same besides the 5-Speed. I have 4.30 too, don’t know if it helps much.

For the record, my dad used to own a 2001 double cab prerunner with the 3Rz and auto. It was a pig.

    Wish I had 4.3s stock...I've got 4.1s. That's right I forgot you were 3RZ as well

4.30 front differential was a bitch to find. I looked all over the country on car-part, and eBay. I never ended up finding one since they’re Uber rare on the Tacoma.

I had to buy one from a rustbucket 1996 4Runner.
