Yeah, you’re right. They already rub the frame and I’m not a fan of cutting or spacers, so 32’s are the biggest I’m possibly ever going to go.

 

Planning on adding any lockers while you’re in there?

 

Im at 32's right now with min rubbing at full lock.

Already have the factory elocker. Going to pass on adding the front locker.

 

I assume the relocation plates will require removing the current plates and then welding new plates on. Let me know if that is accurate and typical cost

 

no they just sandwhich between the leaf packs and the axle. I have photos of this. hang on.

 

They just slide in between the axle housing and the leaf springs. The hole for the center pin is offset to move your axle forward or back depending on which way you point it.

 

I've got 33's and I don't rub at all on the street, nothing cut or chopped, which is perfect for you since your truck never sees dirt.

Depending on how you orientate the plates it'll either move 1'' or 3/4'' forward or backward. Which ever you choose.

 

your rubbing due to the wheels that suck in almost an inch more than stock.

 

I believe my tire size is about 32” (LT265/75R16). It rubs the frame when I’m parking or turning sharply. Otherwise it doesn’t bother me.

 

I feel like it’s both the terrible backspacing of the 3rd Gen wheels and the aspect ratio of 75 on my tire.

Oh well. It’s not that bad, I just live with it.

 

Oh it sees plenty of dirt.

Only we call it San Francisco.

 

Yeah it is the BS. When I had 265/75 I had 3.75 BS, no rubbing. When I went to 285s I changed to 4.0 BS.

 

get a set of spacers? I have a set on my truck. Looking to replace my wheels eventually and get the correct backspacing.

CARB wont question, for more specifics, because they seem like they would rather a vehicle fail than pass anyway.

 

I tried spacers and it made the rubbing worse. At 1.25 it rubbed the mud flaps. At 1.75 it rubbed the frame, badly.

 

But wasn't that before you were lifted?
