    mine did that on stock tires :notsure: it still occasionally does it with 35s but manually shift more often than not for hills so it wont hunt in cruise or i drop it out of cruise and ride just under the shift threshold

    This is my project for today. Not supercharged but it does have a tiny little turbo. :D

    7k miles on it. Needs a longblock. Customer took it to a quick lube place for an oil change. They poked a hole in the spin-on oil filter when installing it. Customer drove it till it was out of oil. It still runs but it makes a lot of aftermarket noises.

    Those filter pliers can do some damage. With great power comes great responsibility. The lube place is paying for the engine replacement. Or their insurance is, rather.

    Yep, basically anything that could be contaminated with metal particles is getting replaced. Long block, breather, turbo, oil lines etc.

    Same here. Did my first oil change in 1990 on my first car, which was a 1972 Beetle. Learned a lot about maintaining a vehicle from that car.

    Growing up, watching and helping dad do all repairs himself there was no way I could get away without doing my own oil changes. Its like a gateway drug that eventually makes you brave enough to doing your own engine swaps, engine modding, heroin etc etc.

    Kidding on the heroin I meant crack :D

    I use oil filter pliers every day, but I don’t he-man it. Only time I’ve ever poked a hole in the filter is when removing one that’s tight AF.

    I have a set of Channellock 480 Bigazz that are great for getting the stubborn ones off.

    Usually hand tight becomes borderline wrench tight when the time comes to remove it on the next oil change anyways. Can't imagine how tight it would be to remove if it was wrenched on.
