    I always hit dead ends, because I don't want pin stripes... and I just wander, without a map.

    If you head south out of Lester and take the right turn, you'll pop out at greenwater. Once you hit the 70rd, take a left to get to naches. Naches->moon/funny rocks->ellensburg. Sans pin stripes. Sliders help on naches though.

    Awesome! Thanks for the directions. Got the sliders, so I'm good there.

    Could probably dig up a couple gps tracks for the stampede to greenwater part, if you wanted.

    I could do the 3rd. But what time do we usually start. I work nights till 230 am or so on Friday.

    I have the GripTwister gpx downloaded. It’s set up by bikers but there are sections that be done in Subaru’s. That we ran into up there. But I can lead us from Shelton over to the Wynoochy damn. If that is something people are interested in.

    I also have a easy route from Greenwater to I-90.

    Hello Ladies (maybe) and Gentlemen,

    Have we reached any sort of conclusion on what day we're doing this thing? Sounds like we may be doing two trips, one on the 3rd and one on the 17th? Any conclusion on where we'd like to go?

    If we're committing to the 3rd, we'd better get this ironed out soon, as it's quickly approaching. I suggest we start putting a list together of who will make it on the 3rd and who will make it on the 17th. I'm currently open to either day and potentially will go both days.

    Nov 3rd
    @Bertw192
    @tonered
    @CBenfell - Dependent on location

    Nov 17th
    @Bertw192
    @tonered
    @Eazy.E - Up in the air
    @CBenfell - Dependent on location

    Thanks!

    The 17th has the most votes so that will be the date for November's meet.

    Please provide me with *stock* and *newb* friendly route ideas so I can hash out meet-up points/times.
    If you are planning on attending, please post in here so that we can have an accurate head count.

    If there is enough interest for people to get together a do a run on the 3rd, we can create a separate thread for that.

    Overland Loop near Belfair and nearby elfendahl OHV area.
    Hopefully not fortune creek cause that's just a super slow trek that rattles like holy hell even if you air down a lot

    Edit: the trip from I-90 to Greenwater sounds good too. There are some still legal shooting areas there too...

    If it's gotta be stick friendly let's pick something that's not super slow

    I'm in for both and would vote for stock-friendly (no sliders or skids yet) but challenging in the way that Stampede to Greenwater is kind short and easy in nice weather? I've never been through there after good rains but did turn around before the top of the NF7040 lookout in snow on my old bike.

    In the end, I'm up for anything and not too ashamed to turn back. Regardless, I'd be good to meet more of you folks. :cheers:
