I recently went to my local custom shop and i got an estimate for my 2002 tacoma. The estimate he gave me was $1400 for a 2 inch lift, kmc monster wheels in 18x9, and some nitto terra grappler tires. Is this a good price?

What size are the Nittos and what kind of lift is it? The XD monsters alone are about $730. Are they also installing the lift?

Edit: Price dropped to around $670

Sounds like a good deal. Those are the cheapest I can find the XD Monsters and then you're just paying another $700 for installation, lift AND tires. I'm sure tires are anywhere over $500 for 18 inch wheels. It's almost like a free lift and free installation.

Well...if you can't get it now it'll be alright. You'll have more time to do research. You should definitely ask or see what kind of lift it is.

Well, considering the tires and wheels come to about the cost of the complete setup, I'd really check into the type of lift it is. Its probably just going to be a spacer lift. If thats the case, I'd suggest saving up a bit more and at the minimum, going with Bilstein's in the front.

Most places around my area seem to want to just sell spacer lifts for some reason, and look at ya like you're making up stuff otherwise.
