Drove around town and searched the woods for a few old cemeteries, cause you know, Halloween and the wife loves that stuff. No dead past about 1860ish from what I saw.

Just as a general observation, I don't think anyone lived past 60, and that was only 1 I saw out of 30 or so. Probably 15 of them were for kids under 12.

Glad I was born when I was

Contacted total chaos and they said the brackets were designed for a 2.5 inch wide leaf pack and that my ubolts were weak. They suggested I get shims welded to both sides so that it would seat better. Only problem is the bracket is permanently deformed now along with one pair of ubolts. I have the original all pro setup reinstalled and will be going with a new leaf pack instead. Stupid me for trying to short cut with bags to offset the added weight in the rear.

@jpereira2 I'll let you know how much later - it's the full ride rite system with the disconnect cradles along with additional longer carriage bolts (4inch and 4.5inch) that I picked up today to account for the larger leaf pack I have. The basic riderite kit comes with hardware only long enough for the stock pre-tsb leaf packs. This setup will fit perfect for anyone who didn't do a ubolt flip.

I just seen all this but I would have said to shim sh also, because it WILL seat better, also will straighten your u-bolts back out.

Or send back and start over, if you need it I can make shims for that if you get me the size you need.

Unfortunately I'll have to figure out a way to form the deformed bracket back into place. I'm sure I could do it at work but in the end I'll need stronger ubolts etc and at this rate I'll be pretty much at the price of a new leaf pack. I'll cut my losses and just get a new leaf pack.

Owner was dressed up as a minion today(nucklehead:rofl:) he told me to do the windshield in the back of the shop and just make sure I'm not interrupting product.
Guy is like 10 min from being done and the owner has me paged...says what are you doing! I told you not to interrupt production!
I'm like oh shit in my head while I'm trying to figure out what happened (long pause on the phone).
Then he like HA! I'm just fuckin with ya.

Well, heading back to NYC in the morning. Gonna try like a bugger to make it a 1 day job. That trip sucks.
The equipment is older than I am, and a light touch is needed.

    I REALLY need a vacation.....

Catch 22, i dont think i could TAKE the vacation and relax..... not this time of year.

Otherwise, theyre hopefully coming to spray foam next week... then, the real work begins.

    Anyway........

What do yall do to make the best of the cold seasons?

Sitting back, I grew up here. When I was a kid, we had some sleds, and otherwise, I split and stacked wood so we had heat.
    And from there, just work.

I know some of yall have sleds.

    What else?

Oh I forgot building snowmen and basically tearing them apart with whatever you got example; swords, axes, clubs, throwing stars, pellet guns, regular guns, bows, crossbows etc.

Snowshoe, ski (downhill or XC), ice fish, bonfires in the snow, winter camping, rabbit hunting (hell of a fun, challenging way to spend a day on snowshoes with a buddy or two). Take a sauna and roll around in the snow. Spend the night in a snow cave. Plow some snow, lol.

Scenario: Get some buddies together once the lakes freeze over in good shape and rent a cabin on a lake. Do some ice fishing, and once it gets dark build a fire in the fireplace, cook some fish chowder, drink some whisky, and tell lies until the hot food, the heat from the fire, and the booze catch up with you and you all crash. The next day, cook some bacon & eggs, make bad coffee in a percolator, go back outside and repeat!

The Parade was great! Finding a place to eat that wasn't packed afterwards was the problem. Lol

Haha I bet. I heard they were expecting something like a million people in the city for it. Where did you watch from?
