Happy Halloween! Ended up staying home from work today feeling sick. Still not entirely sure what hit me, but it has a lot to do with an excessive amount of drainage and a migraine. Oh well, gave me time to finally order my tube bender. So that’s cool. I’ll be able to start building racks and sliders for you guys here soon.

My bed rack got delivered today and is ready for pickup. Got a guy hopefully coming to buy my shell Friday and that's when I'll get the rack. Then I need a spare tire holder that I can lock in the bed.

 

Sounds like a good first project for me to get familiar with the bender. You’ll have to come over once I get it set up and we can figure something out for ya.

Thank you sir. The looks not for everybody but im digging it. Im gunna roll on bedliner it eventually gunna do the side windows as well.

 

I like the look a lot. I've always liked that style makes the truck look tougher less like a show piece to me

 

Yessir and the fact it was $800 cheaper than the closest fiberglass shell with windoors is a plud to lol. Im gunna start doing more wheeling very soon as well. Cant wait to see yours in action with the dirties on it.

 

I'm hopefully going to finish up the 500 break in this weekend and get the fluids changed then I'm ready for a trip. Will have the bed rack and tent ready to go.

Possibly looking at a cabin on 10 acres in Mentone, AL as my get-away. Anybody from the area and/or can tell me about it?

Chocco for the toys for tots event will be the next one. Well im gunna take my dad when he comes for thanksgiving but he dont want a whole lotta folks going.

 

Yup...it’s 10 acres with a little cabin and workshop. Not sure how secure it would be living 7-8 hours away because I’d plan on leaving it stocked and with a 4wheeler. I believe it’s Laurel Creek that runs through the property. I’m trying to do a bit of research from my couch before making the drive out to see it in person.
