The only performance parts on the Pro are the suspension. The rest is a bunch of nice to have add ons for comfort and looks (subjective) but doesn’t add any performance. An OR with comparable upgraded suspension will have the same performance as a Pro.

True. However, I would say majority of people that upgrade their vehicles add modifications for comfort and looks. This has been heavily discussed. Let me know what price point you hit when you modify a TRD OR to match or exceed everything the Pro has.

Completely true. The Pro offers looks and comfort with a small side of performance in an easy one stop solution. Nothing wrong with that if that’s what you like. If you’re after performance and looking for the best bang for your buck the Pro is not a good choice.

In what way? What does the Pro have that improves performance of the vehicle other than the suspension?

    Say it with me...

    “Pro is the better truck.”

The sooner you accept that, the sooner you will be on the path to self-realization.

Naming just the performance mods that the Pro has over a OR:

    +Suspension
+TRD 1/4-in aluminum front skid plate
+16-in Black TRD wheels offering a 1-in wider track
    +Larger anti-sway bar
    +TRD cat-back exhaust

How did you get a Sport hood scoop for an even swap? Seems like everyone in the buy/sell/trade section of this forum are swapping plus like $400 cash...

For me they were the same use case.

The Tacoma has the benefit of the bed, the 4runner the benefit of the rear cargo area.

I will drive them to visit clients, use my $1000 a month stipend to pay them off and then get something new, and modify for more soecifsp off road enjoyment.

Was close to getting an off road but as I thought about the various things I would mod to make it more pro like, just decided to get the pro. Been happy with the decision. Ymmv

I've run the numbers the last week and the PRO is just not in my budget.

I can get a TRD OR and do a few small things to it and be happy.

The 2019 OR/Sports come with leather as an option now which is nice.

I think I like my Clazzios better though.
