    I bought a different type of grill from another company. FedEx delivered it to my door in only bubble wrap. its made of steel and the bolts were bent up a little. i was lucky i could straighten them out easily. The company i bought it from said it was shipped in a box... who knows what happened to the box.

    I hear that a lot and it’s a surprise to me. I get stuff shipped from Idaho by UPS and it takes for fucking EVER to get here. Just an inordinate amount of time. But then fedex stuff is here within days. Either way, both treat me better than usps, considering it’s not uncommon that my usps stuff gets delivered somewhere else.

    I can always tell when On-Trac is making a delivery. They typically show up in an unmarked, 20 year old, beat up Econoline van with a cracked windshield, faded, peeling white paint and bald tires. They always leave a large black oil stain mixed with rusty radiator water on the surface of the driveway. I keep a can of concrete stain remover handy all times. Calling to complain about their crappy service is an exercise in futility.

    Yeah for what I paid I believe $116, I was not happy with the vends. For it being free now, I think I can live with it.

    McGeorge Toyota sent mine with FedEx and it got here undamaged, but like i said in a previous post, Toyota's packaging for this part is terrible.

    It's always up to the packer to make sure something will be delivered undamaged. You're either going to spend money on proper packaging or insurance, and insurance isn't a guarantee.
