I haven't seen that many birds going up at once since Desert Storm.

It was something else just to look around and see so many planes running at the same time

Do any of you fly with a dog? I'm getting a new lab puppy in two weeks and would love it if she would behave in a plane. How do you do it? Harness or restraints?

I would recommend a harness that clips to the seatbelt like you would use in a car

Ha I'm not sure either. But i see airplanes that look just like that on many google maps airports. And it looks like those pseudo-real world trees and buildings that appear when you transition google maps to 3D view.

My dog rides in the back seat of the chopper with no doors. Never had a problem. Starts wagging his tail when I slow down and start and approach just like he does in the car when the blinker turns on

135s then the 46. Now I am the flight chief of a TA unit in Turkey. Heading to KC-10s next as a Pro Super... until Travis starts stepping up their KC46 office.

Nice. The 135 was my 3rd and last bird. Did 3 years on them in the TN guard. C-17s and F-15C'/D's prior when I was active. Never got to see the 46, but a few of my buddies at McConnell should be on them by now I guess.

We have to deliver a few first, the development hasn't been the smoothest process...

I hated the term “organic airlift” when I was in the MICK at Fairchild. The balloon goes up at 0900 and we’ve got 8 hours to get all of the pallets built and wheels up?!?

Just because you can build a new air bridge in less than 48 hours doesn’t mean you have to.

And then there are the 16 hour flights trying to get comfortable on top of a Cadillac bin.

I was on the Air Force operational test team working out of Boeing Field... Imagine how bored I was sitting around waiting for something to test!
